MultiVersus Developer Acquired by WB Games

Player First Games, the developer of free-to-play platform fighter MultiVersus, has been acquired by WB Games, the publisher of said fighter. The news was announced by the latter in a recently sent out press release (via Variety).

Player First Games was established in 2019 in Los Angeles by co-founders studio head Tony Huynh and head of technology Chris White, both of whom will remain in charge of the studio following its acquisition, except now they will report directly to Carlos Barbosa, who is vice president and studio head of Warner Bros. Games San Diego.
